When I first heard, "Mysteries and Smaller Pieces" I had no idea what to expect. I remember thinking, "Okay it's living theatre so it has to be crazy and weird right?". I couldn't have been more wrong. Thanks to Jerry and Lois my original opinion ( which was i admit extremely uninformed) was thrown out the window. They were able to show me that the living theatre is an organization that exposes issues to the public and goes about finding a solution or making the audience think about solutions to these issues. I love this about the Living Theatre, I was never much of an activist but now I believe I am going to have a great voice and a say on issues in our country and throughout the world. So first Thank you living theatre company for just doing what you do.

My opinion of a theatre company was changed through out this three week process of putting on Mysteries and Smaller Pieces, but that's not the only thing that changed about me. One main thing that has changed is well... myself as an actor. Through this play I have come in touch with the true actor that has been wanting to come out for so long. When performing Mysteries its all about full commitment to what you are doing and that full commitment, that focus, that drive is what has made me a better actor.

Jerry and Lois, I would just like to say thank you so much for coming to help us with this production. Also, thank you for helping me find myself as an actor, and bring me at peace with the person who I really am. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you both in the future.

Having Jerry and Lois come to help our class with Mysteries...and Smaller Pieces is probably something I will never forget. I've never felt so in tune with my physicality, my emotions, and with an ensemble of people. I'm so glad they came, because I learned so much that will carry into future acting and my life in general. Jerry and Lois are genuinely goodhearted and talented people that really helped to shape our play into what it will be for our run. Thank you so much!

I'd just like to say that being able to work with Jerry and Lois from the Living Theatre was an astonishing experience. I learned inside and outside of working on "Mysteries and Smaller Pieces," with them. They were so much fun to be around and I think that because I have met them, i have grown both as an actor and a person. This was one experience that i will never forget. And I am glad that i was fortunate enough to work with them even though it was just a few days. I have a new appreciation for theatre, and i believe part of that came from just getting to know the two of them.

Jerry and Lois: You both truly and really inspired me with their stories about activism, your unique interests in the world, and just your outright knowledge about what it means to be human. Through the experience with your workshop and along with the information I have been learning about through my theatre classes, I feel as if I have been opened up to this world that I really resonate with.

What the Living Theatre did and still does today is just remarkable. Art just has this power to inquire, this power to get people to think about the world or themselves in ways that they never have before. This workshop helped me to look at theatre in a different way and really open myself up to what I am capable of. I truly suggest that if anyone has the opportunity to meet these great people they should!

The Living Theatre conducted a fantastic 3-day workshop here, culminating in a very successful performance and talk-back. Warm, exciting, educational, and memorable for all. No one should pass up the opportunity to invite them because they will inspire students and entrance audiences.
